Functioning housing and real estate markets are an essential parameter of a society’s wealth. The research area focuses on practice-orientated examinations of the economic policy conditions necessary for a sustainable development of housing and real estate markets. Special attention is given to embeddedness in the overall economy, for example the overlap with financial markets, social policy, the tax system as well as urban planning and development.
