Otto Wolff Institute

The Otto Wolff-Foundation evolved from the Rudolf Siedersleben´schen Otto Wolff-Foundation and the Otto Wolff von Amerongen-Foundation in 1998. Both foundations supported projects, which were in the public interest and met the goals of the foundation, since 1958 and 1991 respectively.

The focus of the foundation are practice-focused projects regards Germanys‘ international role.

During a reorientation of its activities to support market-based thinking, the foundation evolved its research institute for Ordnungspolitik to the Otto Wolff Institute for Economic Research. In order to take advantage of synergy effects in the practice-based research regarding economic policy, a cooperation with the Institute for Economic Policy was agreed upon. Professor Achim Wambach, Ph.D. holds the position of director of the Otto Wolff Institute for Economic Research.
