ECONtribute, the Institute for Economic Policy (iwp) at the University of Cologne and the European Central Bank (ECB) invite to the ECB Youth Dialogue with Luis de Guindos, Vice-President of the ECB. Luis de Guindos will answer questions of students about the monetary policy of the ECB.

  • How can central banks react to climate change?
  • What is the ECB’s response to COVID-19?
  • How will the economy of the euro area develop after the crisis?

These topics will be discussed in our virtual meeting, moderated by Prof. Dr. Andreas Schabert, spokesperson of ECONtribute.

The ECB Youth Dialogue is an initiative of the ECB that gives young economically interested people the chance to talk directly to ECB policymakers. In a series of events which take place all over Europe – and also online – students can ask questions and discuss their views on the monetary policy of the ECB with board members.

The event takes place online and addresses young economically interested students and media.

Date & time: December 16, 16:30 – 17:45
